Dumpling Week

The Oregonian’s Dumpling Week is a week-long event that spans the city of Portland, with over 40 restaurants developing their dough-wrapped special.

Developed in partnership with The Oregonian’s food writers, every February, Max coordinates with restaurants, refreshes the event’s website, and designs the year’s unique passport, collateral, and promotions.

Max art directed two photoshoots for Dumpling Week, working with Portland, OR photographer Peter Dickson: A dumpling-making demo at Chin's Kitchen and a taste test at Gado Gado.
